Portobello – Purple Rain (70)

It all started with a cotton mesh tube hugging some lovely wool and acrylic fibers inside of it, this is how we created Portobello . Portobello is a Made in Italy yarn with a chainette structure. The loose fibers are blown into the hollow tube and slightly stick out of the mesh, which gives the yarn volume and a bit of fluff. The always off-white cotton tube creates an elegant contrast with the brighter or more subtle colors of the loose fibers. This yarn will keep you warm but fresh thanks to the cotton and the projects created with it will be lightweight and soft thanks to its structure. Portobello can be worked with 4 mm knitting needles (US 6) and 5 mm (US H-8) crochet hook. It will be a great option for beginners as its structure will prevent the yarn from splitting.
