Vegan Cashmere – Vanille (02)

It was like blind tasting: I had no idea of which material the yarn was that I was given for testing. It had a cashmere-like gentle fuzz, the volume was just perfect and it was so easy to knit with. The stitch definition was perfect even though normally my knitting is not very even. I even washed the swatch in the machine and: It came out of the laundry even nicer. And then I was told what the actual material is: this is not cashmere, it is pure cotton. An elaborated spinning technique makes it possible to combine the best of two worlds: the softness of cashmere and the easy care of cotton. The yarn is dyed and produced in Italy.
