Handmade Sequin Thread - Fuchsia

I'm just thrilled to announce the launch of a very magical yarn line! This sparkling sequin yarn is a special creation, handcrafted by the talented weaving families of West Bengal, specifically for our 'Sequins in Pockets' episode at the School of Weaving. I first encountered this yarn back in 2011 during a trip with the Maiwa Foundation, and I assure you, it's just as magical as it sounds! Each petite sequin is carefully threaded onto a single cotton end, then knotted with two other strands, truly epitomizing the art of slow yarn. Just a hint of this yarn in your creations can bring a pleasing shimmer to your fabric. Each spool contains 50 M of this special yarn.
