The yarn is 1 ply and lightly twined with a rustic structure, which creates a beautiful and unexpected look with a slight variation in thickness. The rustic structure is reminiscent of handspun yarn with natural variation in strand thickness. With a single ply yarn, you get a nice softness and incredible colors. It also means that the yarn may feel loose and not as strong as other yarns.
