Dahlia is the perfect cake yarn with beautiful, long color changes. The four strands in Dahlia aren’t spun together, which gives the yarn its unique depth of color. All color combinations in Dahlia are carefully composed to create the most beautiful look. The gradual color changes almost create a dip dye effect that really stands out in crocheted or knit shawls. However, the yarn is also perfect for other projects such as blankets, scarves, or clothes for children or adults. Dahlia is made from 100% pure cotton and comes in large 7 oz (200 g) skeins, so you only need approx. one skein for a shawl. The soft cotton makes the yarn perfect for shawls, since cotton has a slight weight to it, which helps shawls drape beautifully when worn. You can adjust the color transition yourself when working with Dahlia . The yarn was designed with an “easy start” from the middle of the yarn, but you can also give your project a different look by starting from the outside. It will shift the color change so that a yarn that changes from light to dark will instead change from dark to light. The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2076-311).
